Rakata Latino is a dynamic Reggaeton event poised to energise Melbourne's vibrant nightlife scene. Founders Loli and Carlos, prominent figures in both the Melbourne and international Latin dance and music community, wanted to create an event that aimed to unite Salsa, Bachata, and Reggaeton enthusiasts under one roof. With a dual focus on dance and culture, Rakata Latino will host Salsa and Bachata dance classes, leading seamlessly into a night of social dancing, celebrating the fusion of these three iconic dance styles.

APC was entrusted with developing the brand identity and social media content to help bring Rakata Latino to life. The branding reflects the sensual, strong, and energetic essence of Reggaeton—drawing from its urban roots in music, culture, and fashion. The bold, rhythmic beats of Reggaeton, combined with its visually striking style, served as the foundation for a design that’s as immersive as the event itself. Think street art, rich colour palettes, and powerful typography that communicate both movement and attitude, all while staying true to the Reggaeton essence.

In addition to the event's visual elements, APC crafted a comprehensive branding and social media strategy to ensure Rakata Latino’s presence resonates across platforms. The social media guidelines offer a cohesive approach to engagement, helping the brand stay on track for its grand opening and future success.
